From Dalarna to the world.
And back again.
I'm Mattias Rönn. I've worked in digital marketing since 2003. Today I bring that experience, the technology and my network to help more businesses in Dalarna grow.
Talk to me ↗I couldn't wait to leave Falun.
After school and military service, I wanted to get to Stockholm as quickly as possible. At first I commuted from Falun, then I moved. Or rather, I moved several times. Stockholm has been my base for most of that time, with chapters in Umeå, Hong Kong, London and Copenhagen too.
My curiosity about how people and businesses meet online gradually became my work – and the foundation for several companies of my own.
23 years in a field
that never stands still.
I began building digital marketing businesses, starting with a web agency and an affiliate network.
My focus shifted to data-driven advertising. What was then called RTB is now part of programmatic media.
After selling the business to a UK company, I worked on global campaigns until 2021.
Technology is the tool. Business growth is the goal.
Over the years I have helped small, medium-sized and large businesses find customers in their markets. Display, video, connected TV, digital out-of-home and audio can be planned, bought, measured and improved through programmatic technology. But a good campaign always starts with understanding the business goal.
Now I have somehow turned 54, and the children are beginning to find their own paths in the world. These days the journey increasingly runs the other way: from Stockholm back to Dalarna. With long experience and a network of talented people, I want to work with more businesses here at home and contribute to their growth.
That is the idea behind Webbernauts: explore the internet, understand its opportunities and turn them into results for our clients.
Tell me what you want to grow.
Whether your catchment area is a neighbourhood, all of Dalarna or several countries, we start with a conversation.
